So, you’ve decided to renovate your home but want to be sure that Opulent Construct has the right credentials to back up our reputation? We get it… choosing a builder isn’t just about craftsmanship, it’s about trust.
Whether you’re building a new home or tackling a renovation in NSW, licensed builders and contractors must provide Home Owners Warranty (HOW) insurance and a Public Liability certificate for any project over $20,000. This insurance protects homeowners from financial loss in case of a builder’s insolvency, death, disappearance, or license suspension and also covers incomplete or defective work.
At Opulent Construct, we don’t just meet the industry requirements - we exceed them. We are a Master Builders member, Passive House accredited, and hold both a Builder’s Licence and a Subcontractors Supervision Licence, ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards. Our entire team is First Aid certified, because safety (both on-site and for our clients) is our priority. And beyond the paperwork? We’re simply all-round good eggs who believe in building with integrity, transparency, and precision.
We also take the stress out of the process. We hold a current Certificate of Eligibility and apply for HOW insurance on behalf of our clients before they sign a contract or pay a deposit. Our staged payment schedule ensures you’re never overcommitted financially - paying only for work that has been completed to standard.
